Their work eventually led to a full reverse‑engineering of the iconic Legaré machine—an effort that resulted in the creation of the Chambord AccuKnitter 400 CSM, a modern machine built with the spirit, proportions, and reliability of the originals. For seven years, they handcrafted new machines, restored antiques destined for the scrap pile, and became a trusted resource for CSM users around the world.
